The Transformer

The transformer an inductive transducer of alternating voltages is briefly said. The function mode of a transformer has its origin in the Indusktionsprinzip. In the function the magnetic field of the Primärspule intersperses the Sekundärspule by the S.G. magnetic conclusion over a common core likewise. Thus also secondarily stands the alternating current achievement supplied before is available.

The primary and secondary voltages stand in the relationship of the associated numbers of turns on the core. Thus alternating voltages can be transformed freely according to desire up and down.

Furthermore still another a current and resistance transformation runs off apart from the tension transformation. A cause for it is in and power outputs with the changing tension remains almost alike. Counting Erich corresponds the resistance transformation to the square of the number of turns relationship on the core. The transformer is preferably used in power supply units for voltage supply. The tension from electricity mains is transformed with the transformer on the desired operating voltage. Transformers are called therefore also transducers. Typical transformers are the single-aperture core transformer, the halogens transformer, the block transformer or also 24V transformer as well as an electronic transformer. With the manufacturers there is a multicolored pallet at transformers types.
